What age is The Earning Adventure for?
It's designed for children aged 3 and up, with short rhyming verses that little ones can follow. Big kids enjoy it too, and it's a gentle way to start money conversations with any child who's still learning the basics.
What will my child learn?
Connor needs ten coins for a toy, so he earns them by helping out. He learns that money is earned through effort, that you can split coins between "fun now" and "save for later", and, in simple terms, that saved money can grow over time. Each story stands on its own, so you don't need to read the others first.
Who wrote the books?
Australian financial planners (and dads) Victor Idoko, CFA, CFP®, and Lionel O'Mally. After years of giving money advice to adults, they realised no one was teaching it to little kids, so they wrote the books themselves. The bunnies, Liliana, Harvey and Connor, were inspired by Lionel's own children.
Is there anything to help me as a parent?
Yes. The book ends with a Lil' Money Lessons page for grown-ups: what your child is learning, questions to ask after reading, and three easy activities using things you already have at home, like a simple job list, Fun Now and Save for Later jars, and a Money Seeds game that shows savings growing.
How fast will it arrive, and can I return it?
We ship within 24 hours. Standard delivery takes 3–5 business days and Express takes 1–3 business days (regional areas can take a little longer). Shipping is calculated at checkout. Unused items can be returned within 14 days for a change of mind, and if anything arrives damaged, email admin@bunniesmonies.com.au with a photo and we'll replace or refund it.
